I've been curious about how other industries are making the best of ML to innovate their workflows and the way they approach their daily basis tasks. My research stepped me into noticing that there have been efforts to automate the BIM information in Revit from a 2 sketch file (usually PDF or DWG). So far I managed to grab the following interesting papers:

What's more, currently it seems that Changsoft software enables automatic rebar modelling once rebars are recognized in 2D sketches based on the first paper posted above. So, If I'm not wrong BIM360 already deployed OCR algorithms and it appears to me the autodesk team has already a enough solid grasp of ML - CV state of the art to explore those seas. Let's transition into a more dematerialized world.
