Ceiling pattern not showing up in RCP because it was painted in 3-D view

When we paint a ceiling in revit in a 3-D view it causes the gypsum ceiling pattern on the RCP plan to turn white and lose its pattern. We have found two solutions to getting the pattern back. One solution was to simply unpaint the ceiling and the other is to right click on the ceiling and override the graphics by adding a sand fill pattern. However, even though we have these two solutions we would like to be able to go back and forth between rendering in enscape and the RCP without having this issue. Does anyone know any solutions to keep this from happening without overriding the graphics and unpainting the ceiling?

Unfortunately, this is not the best place to ask such a question.

Please note that this discussion forum is dedicated to programming Revit using the Revit API.

So, you cannot expect an answer to a question such as yours relating to product setup, optimisation, usage or other end user support issues here.

You should try one of the non-API Revit product support discussion forums instead for that:

https://forums.autodesk.com/t5/revit-api-forum/this-forum-is-for-revit-api-programming-questions-not...

The people there are much better equipped to address this topic than us programming nerds.

I hope this clarifies.

Thank you for your cooperation and understanding.

Best regards,

Jeremy
