BuiltInParameter.INSTANCE_ELEVATION_PARAM

Dear Members,

When I try to modify BuiltInParameter.INSTANCE_ELEVATION_PARAM familyinstance.get_Parameter(BuiltInParameter.INSTANCE_ELEVATION_PARAM).Set(111); It raises an error that it cannot modify the read only parameters. I am trying to modify elevation value after placing the family instance.

Hi,

What kind of family instance you are placing? Have you checked if IsReadOnly property of this Parameter is FALSE?
