Is there any Books or other Resources available from which help can be taken for making applications.

Revit 2013 provide the online Revit Developer Guide. It is a good resource to get started and deep into Revit programming.

Los SDK de Revit API contienen variedad de ejemplos que puedes utilizar para avanzar en el desarollo de tus plugins. Al igual que diferentes foros donde puedes seguir mejorando tus conocimientos del API.

Si planeas empezar a realizar desarrollo de Plugins que utilizen el API es recomendado considerar volverte miembro de ADN (Autodesk Developer Network) donde tendras accesso a tanto los softwares como los SDK's y contaras con la oportunidad de preguntar dudas a una red de expertos en el tema en caso necesites ayuda.
