Blank paremeter with double storage type

Is there any way to blank a parameter value of storage type double after it has been given a value, rather than it being set to 0? Such as by setting with Null or Double.NaN etc.

There seems to be no way via the UI and was wondering if this is also true for the API (there is no way)? In this world of BIM there should be a way of saying this parameter value is not available yet (other than with an external document).

The problem we often face is that we don’t want to say something is 0 kN or 0 kNm even if it’s a nominal. We usually cover such things with U.N.O. notes. The problem being that 0 in a load table is noting otherwise.

For this reason, we’ve generally used text parameters in the past to supply beam end reactions to fabricators which is a bit of a shame.

Thanks

it would be nice to have way to know if parameter was set. I feel like they forget that double can be NaN(because you can rotate by NaN ).
I would add the option to not show parameters(that can be change only by api) for user when it is NaN.
