Adapting the File Explorer privileges & standards

Hi everyone!

Following issue:

Even if a user has virtually no rights on the system, he is capable to see everything via the builtin file explorer of revit.

e.g.: it is impossible(?) to keep a user from looking at the network environment and snooping around (even an unprivileged user can recreate the standard and always get/activate the quicklink).

 FileExplorer.PNG

-> is there a way to limit a user's view?

-> a way to properly save file explorer preferences (no recreating standard for unprivileged users)

I assumed I'd have to access this Revit internally - that's why I'm posting to this Forum.

Thanks for your Time!

If this is a wish list item, you can post it to the Revit Ideas collection:

Cheers,
