2015 API - Editor

I know the 2015 API is not using .NET 4.5 and I heard the official editor is Visual Studio 2012. I had need using 2010 Express. I installed .NET 4.5.1, but I'm getting errors that it cant find the Autodesk namespace. I cant find 2012 express, and I was reluctant to go to 2013. What do I need to get up and running n the 2015 API? Thanks.

My best suggestion will be to go for VS 2012 or above. Myself I'm using VS 2012 and I haven't heard of any problems using 2013. Any reason why are you opposing to use VS 2013 ?

The Autodesk Revit API requires the Microsoft .NET Framework v4.5.  To edit and debug your API applications, you need an interactive development environment such as Microsoft Visual Studio 2012.
