I went down the list of ideas, voting up the ones I liked, when suddenly I received this message that warned me of "KUDOS FLOOD" !!!

Its not preventing you from giving more kudos later on, just wait a minute or two. 10 per minute is pretty fast, hard to read and consider that many in that amount of time.
In the past there have been spam bots which kudo'd everything in sight (I can't see much purpose other than annoying the admins) so the flood warning is just a circuit breaker to keep that in check. Take a little more time and let each idea percolate a bit before voting; maybe you'll have a suggestion to add for improvement, or possible pitfall that implementing would cause.
The "kudos" voting system is used as a way to prioritize work and understand what ideas are most important to customers. If you simply vote for "everything" then it make it harder for us to understand what is most important to you.
I do not vote for everything, but, when the idea is good, creative, or practical, I DO vote for it. If it happens that ALL the ideas in a page are good and to my liking, then I will vote for all of them.
I do see the benefits of slowing this down though, concerning the bots. I do remember my earlier submitted ideas were getting so many votes from strangely named accounts that seemed to be named in sequence.
i'm also a fast reader and that might be another reason. I scan the idea and get it.
I'm also glad you guys are keeping an eye on these submissions, but do wish you could put a deadline to encourage people to vote.
