memento unspecified error

Hi guys, I get an unspecified error after I upload my images on Memento 1.1.0.1

Tried with and without check files before uploading and get same results.

Uploading 0 to 100% no problems

Registering 0% seems stuck for 10 minutes then...

Error:

Unspecified error and when I hit reload A360 Drive the project disappears.

Can you Autodesk guys look into my account and see what the problem might be with my project?

Registering a task normally takes a few seconds to less than a minute. If it takes too long, then something could be wrong on the server side. In your case, what you can do is to start a new task with the existing photos in your A360 drive. Just click the "Photos" button on the dashboard, in the "Choose your photo folder location" dialog, click "A360 Drive" button to browse to the folder with the photos of the failed task. Click the "Open" button and you will then see all the photos listed as thumbnails. Click "Create" button and give the model a new name to start reconstruction. In this way, you don't need to upload all your photos again.

By the way, memento does not sync failed models. That's the reason why the failed model disappeared when you clicked the "reload" button. Currently only in-progress and completed tasks are synced. We are considering providing more meaningful messages and information in case of error for a better user experience.

Any more questions, concerns and issues please let us know.

Thanks for bringing this up and wish you good luck.

re-loading from 360 worked. The server must have been busy or something killed it before completion.

thanks.

I've tried this proposed solution using the 360 drive a couple times using 2 different sets of photos and still not getting past the "Registering" errors even using the 360 drive, any way to check logs/debug further?

Welcome to the forum.

In my case it did worked. I suggest you try tomorrow or in a couple of days; it might jut be a matter of server overload.

There could be a server issue right now which causes the registration failure. Please try again later.

Is the server still facing issues? I have been facing this issue since 25.8.15

The service has been restored two days ago. Please let us know if you are still facing any issues.
