I have a highly detailed 3D model of the Statue of Liberty I created from a working maquette that the owner graciously permitted me to photograph and recreate via photogrammetry. I went for broke recreating the model as precisely as possible. The resulting model is huge! It has over 12 million faces and the file weighs in at a hefty 1.2GB.
I watched the video about decimation and noticed that ReMake has a Best Geometry option. Yet, when I want to use that very option, it is nowhere to be found? Is it a paid feature only?
I'm using ReMake for Mac 117.25 on a 2010 Mac Pro with 32GB of RAM with an Intel Xeon 6-core 3.33Ghz processor and an AMD Radeon with 2Gb.
