I am working on generating RCP projects with RealViews of an higher resolution than my structured point cloud density.
Since the SDK does not appear to support separate panorama images (please correct me if I am mistaken!), I attempted to generate additional 'invalid' points holding only Color information (similarly to sky points) across my scene.
While the generated RealViews appear visually correct, I noticed that some of my 'valid' 3D points are now missing in the resulting RCP project.
- Are there any plans to support panorama images in the Recap SDK?
- Do you have insights into why some valid points are disappearing?
Could this be related to the RCNoiseFilterLevel setting? I observe no difference when using None vs Minimal (cf. this post). - Alternatively, are there other features in the SDK that could help achieve high-resolution RealViews?
