I am using Trimble X7 for scanning and Trimble's Software to register and export the scan as Gridded E57 then import the files to ReCap.
While importing, in Indexing stage I noticed it takes a lot of time and all the processing done is by CPU and the GPU (I am on quadro P4000). I don't know what runs in the background when ReCap is doing that or can the load be shared by GPU or not but it would be great if they can do that. I t would save a lot of time.
