It would be helpful if we could choose a scan that will be the base for registrations. Similar to Reference scan in Faro scene or Home Scan world Leica Cyclone.
You can do this for the first scan by switching the scan before creating your first registration group (in manual mode). The same should work for auto-registration - go into manual reg, start the registration with your desired scan, then go back and start auto-registration (choose to keep existing registration).
But I also agree that this would be a good standalone feature (especially to 'rebase' the network to a different origin scan later).
