You may start using this feature today by downloading the latest ReCap version from our product page.

More about on the latest updates can be found here.

You can turn on orthographic mode and export a top view image from your point cloud.

I would like to take this a step further, and be able to export a georeferenced orthophoto (with a world file) as well as the option to create a tiled orthophoto (to create a grid of high res photos based on our specs entered).

The max resolution of the export is 4096 by 4096, so when zoomed out on a bigger site you lose resolution, and the image is good for a presentation, but not for extraction. When we zoom in the quality of the photo drastically improves and we could import this image into CAD, etc. and use to extract 2D features from.

The problem is that we have to manually fit the imagery in CAD, or multiple images if we have to zoom in. Having a tiled option along with each image being georeferenced would be awesome.
