Extents Recognition

We need ReCap to recognize that the file extents have changed after point cleanup/deletion. I would like to be able to use the view cube to select my view withouth it zooming back out to oblivion every time I pick a view or select the home button.

This is something we've investigated and will consider for a future release.  It's a bit tricky to maintain accurate bounds after a deletion without a performance hit.

The upcoming release (mid-fall) will use the limit box extents (instead of full project extents) for zooming when the view cube is clicked.  This should provide a fairly simple workaround for the issue you describe.
