View Cube disappearing

In Recap V4,  our view cube disappears when you click it.  After it disappears, the point cloud cannot be found in the environment.

Hi Jared,

I am unable to duplicate this behavior on my test project. Are you seeing this behavior with any project or specific project? Did you try opening subject project from different computer using latest version of ReCap? Would you be able to share subject project with us for further investigation? Is there a fix to this yet?  Our deadline for this deliverable is today, and we have now way of providing them Recap 360 Cloud Realviews to our customer.  Our current project is 16 floors, however 2 of the floors have this issue.  We have tried re-exporting, starting from scratch, and processing on other computers, however we always come to the same result with these two levels.

Hi Jared,

 

We recently developed a fix for a defect related to the disappearance of the view cube for certain point cloud projects which were cleaned up in a different product and imported into ReCap as a ptx,ptg, or e57 file. This fix is expected to ship in our next release.

 

Was your project created as described?

 

One short term work around that has returned the View Cube for SOME project in ReCap 4.0.0.28 is as follows:

1) Enter RealView

2) Pick a Scan from the Project Navigator in RealView.

3) Return to 3D View by clicking the 3D View Button.

Thanks for the response.  The fix that you described worked for one of the two levels in the desktop app, however it does not fix the Recap 360 issue.  Is there any way we can get a hot fix for this as soon as possible?  The 360 Realviews for this large project were part of our proposal, and are expected to be delivered today...They are crucial to the overall workflow of this project.
