Using the intensity data sort in ReCap with LIDAR points (.las)

I see that I get the RGB options when I import the .las file how to I import it so that I get the Intensity options? As of now my RGB points are all in grey scale anyway and the intensity factors are the only important ones for me. I'm using spacial factory to export my point clouds into .las files then importing them into ReCap. along with the intensity being 0% for the entire cloud the elevation is not correct either. I have a 330 meter long road and ReCap is treating it like a 330 meter tall point cloud.

Thanks

Is there any way that you could share the LAS file (or create a sample if you can't send us data from the actual project) so that we can see if the Spatial Factory LAS output is somehow different from what we're expecting on import?

As for the orientation issue, you should be able to resolve that by using the Up Axis tool on import.

Sorry for the delayed response, I've been out of office the last two weeks.

I have attached a LAS file I've tried to use in ReCap. Thanks for any help you can offer.

I fixed the orientation issue by changing the spacial reference but the intensity is the the most important part still

thanks,

The file didn't come through, however we were able to identify an issue that keeps us from being able to read intensity with LAS files.

I cannot offer an ETA, but this is now a known issue that is being fixed.

Thank you for the report.
