So I was just trying to measure the distance between the two bodies in the screenshot below. However, every time I try to measure distance using the tool in Recap Photo, the model disappears specifically the flat piece on top. Is there any way I display two objects in one screen at the same time without it disappearing? Thanks a lot!

The Measure Distance tool works only on a single object. In ReCap Photo, You cannot load 2 models at one time except during a Compare Models feature as in your screenshot. This is a good find however and we'll log it as an improvement or enhancement for the application.
Perhaps load both the models in Maya and then export as an fbx and import to Photo as a single object and measure the distance?
