Stuck at 1% waiting in queue in Recap Photo

Hello, I have an Edu license and I when I try to make a model the project get stuck at 1% waiting in queue, the project's name is "cave", also my photographs sizes are small. I have a jury and two other projects like this, so if you can help, it would be great.

Hi did you tried to tap refresh icon :counterclockwise_arrows_button: near the bottom of Autodesk ReCap Photo app.

Also have you tried to refresh your Autodesk drives?

I do these things when I'm having these "issues" Below is a video how I do these steps. I will delete this in a few days...maybe. Bye 🙂

Can you maybe check for my projects. 

I'm still waiting and nothing. I think that one of them literally stuck. It's around 40% for a few days from now. 

Other projects I wait for around 4 days to maybe more than one week.

Down below are screenshots of these projects. I will also try to named them down below in list.

OK, this is names of problematic files:

1. (stuck ones) : TrafoValjdaZG (I guess this is the name of projects)

2. others... don't know actually names...look at the screenshot of projects.

I only knew name of folders containing these projects, not the name of project itself.

Anybody for solution?

I tried to update desktop connector, try to turn these rotating arrows. Also, I tried to see if anything going on with Autodesk Drive on-line app, but nothing.

Something is really wrong with this service  I believed in him, but now it turns out in change for those waiting it's better to process these thing trough software like Agisoft Metashape, or similar. 

At the end I did not get any answer, just worthless promises like "should be better" in future... yeah but future for this company to seems like worser. 

I remember when Autodesk 123D Catch came, Ok it's not always working perfect at that time but at least i did not had something like this connector, also I was able to review my project on smartphone (back then I had Samsung Galaxy S3 NEO with...i think 1,5 GB of RAM and max 8 GB of internal memory...If i remembered these things well)...

Ok, at least I expect these projects to be done. 

At least, if not that, someone reply from tech support. This 1% stuck in queue is a big problem, for someone waiting, not knowing what should be outcome of those waiting is not acceptable to behave on that way. 

One final word, unbelievable. I'm sorry to be here and sharing posts with same theme, and from now maybe two weeks of waiting.

Thanks to autodesk...for nothing...so far...

If i got solution for this maybe things will behave differently

@barmanr There is something wrong with Recap photo. It is been 4days since upload, and it is still waiting in the queue.

Kindly enable offline processing or have a better queuing system.

Don't know, but when you see this, check it out in video below (don't expect that this video (down below) will be here for forever).

So, from those project which stuck at 40% while processing nothing else, after that, wants to be processed.

I think that is serious problem which must to be solved. I can't believed either.

I expect some answers, or maybe better said "WE" expect some answers, and after all better queue engine,

like someone mentioned that before.

Sorry I have been out of the office lately and just got back. I took a look at your projects and I see doorHandle is complete processing. However, dash has errored out for not finding enough views. Will need to take a look at the images to analyze for that.

Sorry, you're facing these issues. And also sorry as I have been out of the office lately. Just got back. I took a look at your projects at the backend and checking with the backend folks as to what might have happened. For the project that you mentioned stuck at 40%, I actually cannot find a record at the backend. For the projects that you mentioned waiting in queue since a week back, I do see them. Checking what could be happening. Looks like lost spot instances. 

I will get back to you once I get more information on the projects.

Based on the backed, out of the 3 you mentioned only MacakUCizmama got submitted and waiting in the queue. For MacakNaKutijiCulisic and MacakNaKutiji, there is no images associated. Please resubmit these again while we investigate what could be the reason. Also, your more recent projects are already processing and one is complete already.

At the moment the EDU queue is very congested and waiting times are extended for now. If you submit multiple projects, some projects may finish faster as compared to others. And sometimes due to congestion, projects will not get an instance. In such cases please run the project again.

Sorry for the long waiting times recently. This is a result of an issue at the backend and also large congestion at the queues recently. What was happening is that projects in the queue for more than 4 days were being dropped off hence the long waiting times with no results. 

We have now fixed this issue. Please resubmit your projects and this time we have extended the timing for message drop so your projects will not be dropped. Waiting times, for now, can still be around 4-5 days depending on congestion. Sometimes it can be faster. We are working on making this faster for Educational by using more instances.

I'm a paid subscribed. I just use 42 credit to process imagery from my drone. I'm not using GCP. Processing is stuck at 30% for the past 6 hrs. If I cancel and submit again, what will happen to my credits? Thoughts?

Hi @jl ,

If you cancel you will lose the cloud credits. If you wait and it errors out, you will get your CC refunded. Based on the CC, I am guessing your total photo count is around 700 images. Possible to PM me your project name and I will take a look at the backend.

Don't know what to think. Now it seems that other project stuck at 60%, just unbelievable.  Also, don't know but someone complains about how project (even paid ones) stuck at 30%, and don't know if he/she get refund for that...if I understood well...This is how do you care about your customers, even those who had paid projects, or products.

Don't know but i think that you need do something concrete...and immediately. 

Also, about "congestion" and don't know what is technical aspect of those, i would call this, nothing else but excuse. This software shall better interact with users, because i really don't know what is going on while waiting. I just see 1% and that's all...there is no sign of anything going wrong. It's made so "good" that I need to be here, on this forum, to find out what is going on with my projects. I can't believe for these things. I mean, what will happened if I accidentally remove my photos/pictures from the project? I mean, you can upload if you have materials. These excuses are unacceptable anymore. Instead of that make better software, and service for all of users...even those with money. I will post a picture, a picture of... i think shame because after a lot of waiting i realized at the end that i need to upload projects again, so I expect at least to be finished at this day...because my patience has "expiration date"...I'm not talking just for myself, i think that other users too lose their patience so. 

Ok just before when I want to say goodbye to you i realised that thing are become worser, now i can't even upload pictures. How do you think that I be able to upload my pictures?

Also something is strange, sometimes when trying to select pictures...so...this all has been recorder to prove you those things. Don't expect for these videos to be here forever, so inspect this.

Also, for projects that are stuck...I'm sure that i uploaded pictures, so don't know what is going on backend.

I knew that I lost any hope for this product. Maybe i should expect answer that anything is fine. 

I'm probably switching to Agisoft, now is maybe a right time for doing so.

Yeah...I almost forget...here is a picture...of what's going on with my project (if someone interests), but I would like to emphasize that here are two projects, that are stuck...one i stuck for sure, other don't know is it processing or not. That's all about interaction by this program. 

Here is situation...I did not find names of each project...this example is enough...at least by me

Don't know what is happening but it seems that now i have this problems. I'm basically unable even to upload, I'm not thinking right now about projects anymore since i had these problems now.

Anyone who had this problem ? maybe ?
