Structured Point Cloud to Mesh Colorization Issue

Hello,

I'm having some difficulty with getting my desired result of having a colorized mesh produced from a structure point cloud.  My workflow involves importing structure e57 files or structured Recap files into Recap Pro and generating a registered point cloud, complete with mirrorballs and all of the appropriate imagery.  I then build the mesh using scan to mesh within ReCap Pro.  The result is less than desirable.  Portions of the mesh have color and portions have a uniform grey color.  

A few other notes about our workflow:  I use a Trimble SX10 to acquire the point cloud data and then register the scans within Trimble Business Center.  From there I export either a structured e57 or structured recap file.  Whether I complete the process with the structured e57 or structured recap, the result from scan to mesh is the same.  

Does anyone have a suggestion as to what I might be missing here?  Is it the scan point cloud density?
