Something seriously going wrong with recap engine!

Hi,

I was a very happy user of recap, but suddenly something is seriously going wrong. Multiple of my (paid) models get a massive diagnal cut off thru the object.

All images are properly detected and as you can see from the extreme clean cut line, this must be an error in the recap engine.

Can you please have a look at this?

Also, I paid for these models to be processed, what is the procedure to claim back these credits, for clearly a failure from the recap side.

Regards,

Richard

Here an other sample of a random cut off. I did NOT select any bounding box, but in this case the feet where randomly cut off 😞

Hi Richard

I had these problems before and it had to do with smartcrop - I guess the algorithm cuts anything behind the cameras so if (for example) if in your second and third pictures you had a camera at waist height but pointing at your feet, the cutplane would slice through your model. Just speculating.

If so, just turning off smart cropping would do the trick 🙂
