Revit point size/opacity is different when the cloud was made in recap from e57 or other..?

I am at a complete loss here.

So my core problem is that clouds that we made into an rcp using the recap API did seam less dense then those made in recap directly.
But after some investigation that did not seam to be the case at all.
It seams points from a pointcloud that has been made in recap using an e57 just have bigger/darker/more opaque points then from rcp pointclouds made from a different format.. Even if they are all set to black in visibility settings.
And given that there are no point size or opacity settings in revit, this seams absurd to me. Why are some .rcp files better then others?

Here you can see the same raw cloud, made into rcps in different ways.

From left to right:
- single e57 into recap (EXPORTED as unified rcp)
- single rcs into recap (no export, just used rcp project) (rcs is loaded from ivion)
- single e57 into recap (no export) (DARKER THEN REST)
- multiple .las files into recap (exported as unified rcp)
- multiple .las files into recap (no export; project)
- multiple .las files using recap sdk sample project

(I also tested one single .las from the same cloud section, but after i made the screenshots, it looks  like the brighter ones)

As you can see, the only one which seam to have full density is the third one, where the e57 was loaded into recap and the project was used without exporting.
The same issue even occures if the rcp comes from a recap export. So the same project that looks darker, gets less dark when its being exported in recap.

It sure seams like it just has more points then the rest, but zooming in shows that this does not seam to be the case

I can hear you say "but its not the same spot in the cloud, it could still be more points", fair enough, even though I checked thoroughly, even the same places, i hear the objection, but even this seams to fall flat when zooming in even further, so its just about single points.

Here it seams very clear, the left points are clearly visible, while the right part of the screen is barely noticeable at all.
Small reminder: the point colors are all set to black in visibility settings, so its not about color information here, they should look the same!

So what am I missing here? is there some hidden settings? how is it even possible that after conversion to rcp it makes a difference what original pointcloud format it was?
And how can it be that, seemingly, two clouds have different point sizes.. or opacities, when no such settings exist in revit?

To me it looks like some strange thing is happening in rcp files that come from a non unified recap project that was created by importing an e57 file (very specific), maybe points are doubled up? overlayed with itself? therefor appearing more dark?

We kinda want that darkness for all the clouds, because currently rcps that are made any other way are way to hard to see...

Update: I processed the e57 with the revit sdk sample directly, just to check, and like I thought, its dark, like from the recap application.
