resticking / resubmitting cost again 5 cloud credits?

Hi,

If I have one or two images that where not automatically matched, I can manually giving sticking points, but when I resubmit the project I have to pay again 5 cloud credits???

Is this as-designed?? does not seem very fair.

Regards,

Richard

Hello Richard,

You only get charged the 5 cloud credits when you are submitting in Ultra mode. If you resubmit in Draft to ensure that all your images get stitched properly, there is no charge. I thus recommend you first process in Draft until you are satified with the stiching before submitting in Ultra mode.

Best regards,

Elmer

I thought there is a cap on image size and amount of total images you can use in draft mode as opposed to ultra?

Hello,

If you don t have a subscription you have a 50 images limit in draft and no ultra option.

If you do have a subscription then the images limit for both draft and ultra goes up to 250.

Your workflow should be to do all your evaluation using draft mode and then use ultra to get the final result.

Hi,
This does not work for me. I do have a subscription, but am having issues
with the auto crop feature. So I have to submit my project without that
option and then later select the bounding box to isolate the environment. I
then have to resubmit the project and this is then costing me again an
other 5 credits.

I do not understand why "fine tuning / resubmitting" cost again a 5 credits.

Regards,
Richard

Fine tuning should definitively not cost you any Cloud Credit.

I m sending you a private message to try to understand your workflow.

The sequence of the Next button is wrong and leads to multiple submissions of a project which costs 5 credits each time. I have 4 active ultra projects and because of the program problems I have been charged 40 credits instead of 20. I want my credits back and the program flow to be reviewed. Be careful when clicking the next button, you will be charged multiple times for the same project.

We’ll review this and get back to you.

It seems that the same project has been submitted 4 times and that shouldn’t be the case.

Hello,

could you send me the URL you get when you visualize your projects ? (something with viewer.aspx?project=XXX)

Thanks

Hi RC_steph
where you get this: "If you do have a subscription then the images limit for both draft and ultra goes up to 250."

Because information from here
http://www.autodesk.com/store/recap-360/benefits

says
"
Process high-resolution textured 3D mesh or photo-based point clouds from up to 250 images using cloud credits. High-resolution projects consume 5 cloud credits per project. Draft resolution projects from up to 50 images and 12 MP in size remain free."

And Cloud credits it another mystery for me, because i can't find any information on autodesk.com about how i can topup this credits and how much it will cost.
