ReCap Registration Issues: Black Dots in RealView

Hopefully I can find some help here. I have been scouring forums for a while now and cannot seem to find a fix to my issue.

I am registering in ReCap from a Faro scanner, and I am unable to register the scan data because they come in as unstructured scans with black dots plaguing the real views. See the attached photo for what I an referring to.

However, when I log in as the administrator user on my workstation, the very same scans register without issues. I have admin privileges on my user account to try and fix this issue, however, it does not solve the problem.

If anyone has come across similar issues, please let me know what you did to fix it!

I don't have a solution, just a similar problem. I just scanned a place with the Faro Premium 70 + Panocam. Unfortunately for me, the premiums require processing in Scene before I can do my thing in Recap. After processing in Scene the RealViews look fine, but after registration in Recap, they have black dots all over them. Not as drastic as yours - still passable - but a matrix looking situation.

Do you have access to Scene to see how they look there? FTR I'm using Scene 2023 & Recap 2024.
