Hi @michele.roberti,

Translation (via Google Translate):

I have a trial version of Recap Pro, I've already done a mesh object process when I try to do the second I can not get it started, is it a trial version limitation?

@anil_mistry translated your question per the above as this is predominantly an English forum.

Project Clean up and Object Mesh only works with Structured scans.

Structured scan data is mainly coming from Faro, Leica, Z+F, Riegl, Topcon & Trimble 3D laser scanners in the format of .FLS, .PTG, PTX, ZFS, CLR, RSP and RDBX scan files respectively. These file formats, and some types of binary E57 scan files, are primarily structured scan data.

Structured scans are "fixed-origin" or tripod scans - data coming from scanners on a tripod (static or terrestrial scanners). For example, formats like FLS,ZFS,PTX etc. Only those files can be used for noise clean up and scan-to-mesh feature..LAS files that you are working with fall under unstructured.

See this article for more information on structured vs unstructured format.

As far as I know, there is no software to convert unstructured data to structured.

Please, let me know if this helps.

Thank you and have a great day!!!

Hi @michele.roberti,

Translation (via Google Translate):

I'm loading .e57 files, exported by Cyclone, so I guess they are not structured files! Thank you for the reply!

Thank you for your reply. Some types of binary E57 are structured but if if they are not Structured format then Object Mesh will not work.

Thank you and have a great day!!!

Hi @michele.roberti,

Translation (via Google Translate):

What exactly is meant for Structured Scans, because even a .e57 file is an unstructured scan, I only considered the scans that had the Laser Scanner symbol at the bottom left, the other scans that had a shape symbol I cut them off, then cut out the portion I submitted to Mesh, and I could no longer start the Mesh process.
Could this be the problem? That is, the fact that you did cut a portion of the Scan? Thanks for the answers !!

Remove unstructured data from the mix and then try saving project or indexing again then try creating Mesh. Please, let me know if this helps.

Thank you and have a great day!
