Hi, I have taken a 900million point cloud into Recap Pro as a PTS file to clean. All was well until I reopened the file after shutting the machine down overnight to find two things:
1. Only the area that was within the limit box (when I saved the file I was using the limit box) had any cleaned scan data, i.e. stray points that I had deleted. When enlarging the limit box, all of the previously cleaned scan data had returned to it's original state.
2. Additionally to the above, when resetting the limit box, around half of the scan data was missing?!
Does anyone have any experience of this? I have been trying? I have been trying Bentley Pointools but have problems with that too.

I too have experienced the same problems when editing / deleting points within a limit box. Points outside the limit box have been deleted which should not occur.
I have also had a second bug related to the limit box. After resetting the limit box to include the entire set of scans, I exported to a Unified .RCS file. Unfortunately the limit box still cropped part of the unified scan even though it was reset and displayed the complete set of scans on screen.
Autodesk.... Please setup a beta feedback site so that us users can log this feedback and help the product improve. This is an outstanding software that just needs some good user input.

For your first issue, you're right, it's a bug. It's already fixed in our latest build, and will be avaliable in next release.
As for the second issue, I can't reproduce on my side. Do you have the same issue with other scan data?

The issue you said for exporting unified rcs, can you try to change the spacing in unify settings?
