RECAP PHOTO, how do I use this software?

Greetings,

I am new to 3D printing (printer is on order) and for my first project I wanted to try to print a broken part to my shower that is discontinued.

I heard about this great software ReMake from Autodesk, but found it has been replaced with ReCap Photo, but I cannot find any information on how to actually use the program.

I've glued my part together well enough to take pictures and loaded them into ReCap Photo but I can't figure out how to clean up the mesh for printing.

any guidance would be appreciated before my trial runs out in 20 days.

Hello @santaniellog

You can open the .rcm file in ReCap Photo and use Mesh editing tools to crop the model as you want.

Do let me know, if you need more help on this?

Thanks,

I am sorry, but the responses I have received to date are worthless.

I asked for instructions on using the mesh editing tools and received nothing. If this is the type of support one can expect during the trial period I can't see how anyone who needs the support as I do would ever pay for this tool. I certainly will not!

I would like to have the video you created.  I am having the same issue.  I do not know how to edit my model.

I would appreciate it if you could send what you have made.  Also maybe you could load it to the Autodesk YouTube site
