ReCap photo does not recognize an Autodesk connected drive

Dear Community,

I am writing with an Autodesk ReCap photos question. After clicking on create project, choosing the project type and uploading photos I try to create the project, but the program issues a warning of "The selected folder is not an Autodesk connected drive." (see attached) I have the Desktop connecter downloaded and running, also the drive is open in my browser just in case. I double-checked the path to it and it is correct as well (see attached). I also tried creating a new folder to the drive and it reflects immediately on my laptop and the selection menu of the ReCap Photo, but even when choosing it the same message appears. Any ideas how to fix this? Thanks in advance!

Hi @hkhachikyan_ieu2022 ,

Sorry to hear that you have trouble with ReCap Photo on selecting a folder on Autodesk Drive. Through our internal tests, it seems fine for us. I think here are the steps you may try:

1. Update Autodesk Desktop Connector app to the latest version if you have not done so: https://www.autodesk.com/adsk-connect-64.

2. If You still have such an issue after updating Desktop Connector, you can send us the log file for ReCap Photo for further investigation. The log file is under %localappdata%\Autodesk\Autodesk ReCap Photo. You may rename the log file (i.e. to recapphoto1.log) and run ReCap Photo to reproduce the issue, so that a clean recapphoto.log with all necessary debug info for the issue will be logged. Please pm me by attaching the log file and we will look into it further.

Thanks,
