After exporting a Recap Pro project (latest version as of November 2024) into a .rcs file, then swapping application to civil3d (latest 2024 version) adding point cloud (.rcs file) it then shoots my point cloud two states over. I have no idea how to fix it. I've tried changing units to us survey, changed import units to "21". When I check the point cloud attach details it says meters. No way to change

Hi @MaximoR8ZVK,
Let's see what you've got. Can you provide a link to your point cloud data?

So the solution was the point cloud was local and the C3D was server. It didn't like that and wouldn't carry over and gcp data once XREF'd.

More details please. What did you do? Screen shots would be nice.

I don't have any photos currently but to better explain I opened C3D with a DWG file through our server. Then tried to import a point cloud I saved locally and not uploaded to the server, when I was in the import menu the grid coordinates weren't populating. Once I saved the point cloud to the server to the same sub folder as the DWG file it worked fine. C3D read the grid points and everything uploaded correctly
