Photo (burst photos iphone 6) to 3D Creation Failed

Hi All

We tried to create a 3D from photos using recap360 Autodesk. Photos are taken using iphone burst photos feature.

We dropped around 25 photos to create and Recap 360 was successfully creating 3d object and able to see the mesh view mode.
the 3d view is attached (file  : test-3D from busrt photos (iphone).jpg)

Then we tried to insert this rcp.file into revit / autocad and receive the message in the image attached (file :failed to insert rcp file.jpg)

we tried to insert this rcp file into Recap Pro software either. Cause previously I thought we could edit / export it to obj format using recap pro.

does anyone know where did i miss the steps? Appreciate if anyone could help to solve the issue.

Thank you

Regards,

Ivonne

Hi @suwarma.ivonne,

Thank you for participating in our Community!!!! When you create Photo to 3D project need to download the output file (or files) that you specified when creating the project.  This is either an RCM mesh (for ReMake), and RCS point cloud (for ReCap, AutoCAD, etc), or an OBJ (for other mesh apps).

OBJ, RCM – Preview mode

ORTHO, RCS,FBX, OBJ, RCM - Ultra Mode which is required 5 cloud credits

You can download RCS from A360 project drive and then import into Revit/AutoCAD.

See these sections from ReCap help for more information:

Please, let me know if this helps.

Thank you and have a great day!!!

Thank you

Do you also happen to know about the point credits required to choose "ultra" mode before we create the photo to 3d?
Where we can get this credit from?
