Multi story building

I have registered all my scans by floor.

I tried to register the floors together by the stairs, but after registration happened, each group broke as if it was not registered before the combination.

I need help trying to solve this issue for a long time.

Thank you

You indicated that you registered all your scans by floor. Does that mean that you have two RCP projects (each floor is a separate project)?

The reason for asking is to understand the process.

Our team had this issue too. Unfortunately we just kept all three floors separate models and imported them each into our Revit model. We were able to get two to register and not break but we decided to go ahead keeping it three separate files.

Would it be possible that there is not enough points between registrations that it won't stay connected? That's what we thought our problem was before moving on.

Hello Patrick,

Taht is correct, I have 1 RCP by level. Once I create a new project and import both RCP to register by the stairs, both floors break everywhere. It should keep the integrity of each group, but the problem is that they break away after registration.

I am super frustrated and don't know what to do with this.
