Importing .fls failure

When trying to upload some fls scan into recap i get an error message.  98% of the scans load fine but for some reason some will not load.

Were these scans all taken with the same scanner?  If so it's possible there was some corruption, etc.  If you can share one of the scans that's failing we can have a look.

I have the same issue with some fls scans.
It is the same as discriped in the following artcle:

I tried the solution but I can not register the dll. I always get an error.
What can I do?

I processed the files in scene. I then saved the project to recap. Then i
brought the files in as a folder to the project.

The goal is not to use Faro Scene. I have fought with many problems in the past and am glad that ReCap covers most of the important functions for us.

I have now uninstalled all Faro software and ReCap from my computer. Then I reinstalled ReCap. Now the import works as it should.
