Import 200 scans registered with Faro SCENE into ReCap
Hello Community,
I registered 200 Scans (each scan has around 44M points) from a Faro Scanner with Faro SCENE. After the registration I load the project into ReCap, but ReCap can´t open the project. When I try to load one .fls-file this reasults in a pts with around around 3.5 GB. Any ideas what´s going wrong here? Do I need to export in a special format from Faro SCENE!?
In Scene from the work structure on the left side right click on scans and select “save copy as”
This would create new .fls files that should import without a problem in ReCap.
Importing these .fls files in ReCap will give you a lot more capabilities in ReCap, like publishing scans on ReCap 360, panorama mode from each scan position and scan to scan registration.
