E57 files exported from Dot3D Pro (DotProduct) will not import into ReCap.

When I try to import E57 files from DotProduct scanners, I get the following error message:
"ReCap has encountered an error importing: [Project Support Folder location\Frame Nr.: #.rcc]
This file will be removed from the project. Please check the file and re-add it to try again."
The same file will import fine into other programs such as CloudCompare and Pointfuse. I am using ReCap Pro version 7.0.0.183 on Windows 10 version 1809. Please advise. Let me know if you need a sample file.
