Autodesk ReCap / Autodesk ReCap Pro Update version 4.2.1.7 - Release Notes

Thank you for downloading Autodesk® ReCap / Autodesk ReCap Pro Update version 4.2.1.7

This release note contains the latest information regarding the installation and use of this update. It is strongly recommended that you read this entire document before you apply this update to your product. For reference, you should save this document to your hard drive or print a copy.

 

Affected Products

This update applies to the following products:

  • Autodesk ReCap / Autodesk ReCap Pro (version: 4.2.0.2)

 

What is included?

This update contains the following fixes:

  • Fixed crash related to unified export.
  • Fix issue in which transferring certain mobile projects could result in a crash.
  • Fix issue in which certain project data (images, attachments) would not be visible after mobile transfer.
  • Fix issue in which removing an unregistered scan could result in a crash.
  • Fix issue in which ReCap could hang when transitioning from 3D to RealView in certain very large projects.
  • Fix issues related creating/renaming regions when the Project Navigator is undocked/floating.
  • In-App Hub now supports non-English languages.

 

Installation Instructions

You must have administrative privileges on your Microsoft® Windows® operating system to complete the installation process.

1. Updating Autodesk ReCap / Autodesk ReCap Pro on a single computer:

 

a. Using Autodesk Desktop App:

  • Ensure ReCap / Autodesk ReCap Pro version 4.2.0.2 is installed on the computer.
  • Launch Autodesk Desktop App from the system tray or from Start -> Autodesk -> Autodesk Desktop App.
  • Click on the 'Updates' tab; Autodesk ReCap / Autodesk ReCap Pro v4.2.1.7 should be visible in the list.
  • Click on 'Install'. The new update will be downloaded and installed. ReCap / Pro's current version 4.2.0.2 will be updated to version 4.2.1.7.

b. Direct download & install:

  • Ensure ReCap / Autodesk ReCap Pro version 4.2.0.2 is installed on the computer.
  • Download ReCap / Pro update (version 4.2.1.7) from the following link: http://up.autodesk.com/2018/RECAP/AutodeskReCap_v4.2.0.2_to_v4.2.1.7_x64.msp
  • Double click on AutodeskReCap360_v4.2.0.2_to_v4.2.1.7_x64.msp
  • Follow the installation instructions on the screen. ReCap / Pro's current version 4.2.0.2 will be updated to version 4.2.1.7.

Hi

 

the "Help"-Buttons starts the page

The first sentence on that page is "Autodesk ReCap 3.0 is now available! " -  but now we are at 4.2.1.7 ...

 

Is the help-file up-to-date?
