Autodesk Recap 2026 - Unexpected application close

Hi,

I installed Autodesk Recap 2026 yesterday, and it worked fine. However, today when I try to run the program, I receive an error message at startup:

I’ve already updated my Nvidia driver to the latest version for Windows 11, but I still can’t start the program.

I also tried reinstalling the software, but the issue persists.

Do you have any idea how this can be resolved?

Hi Mike,
Disabling the welcome window at startup resolved the issue, and everything is working fine now.
This had never happened before.

I had the same issue. Disabling the welcome screen worked for me also.
