asc point claud is not displayed

Hi,

I'm trying to index a asc point cloud, I select the file, click index file button, the file is loaded, click launch project and nothing is displayed in screen. 

I try downloading another file from internet but the issue continue.

I'm using ReCap 1.4.0.132,

The first thing you should do is to update to the latest version of ReCap.

What units did you set when you imported the file? I see that this is a very small model to begin with so depending on the units, it could have been scaled so small that it cannot be seen. In general, I probably wouldn't recommend ReCap for a project as small as this bone.

May I ask what you're hoping to do with this model?

Thanks for the answer, I'll try this.

I want to compare the CAD model with a 3D scanned model, currently I use meshlab to open and convert the .asc file to meshes, but I'm exploring other alternatives, I wish to do this with Autodesk products only.

I'm trying with project memento too, do you have more ideas??

This is actually a great use for Memento. You can use it to perform a diff analysis between two meshes. The only piece that's missing in its current state is the ability to create a mesh from the point cloud. This is something we're working on, but we have not yet announced a release date.
