Is there a way of fixing a registration (structured RCP.) that has been previously coordinated to site control.
My workflow is:
1. register scans in cyclone (if i have control points, i apply them here)
2. export to RCP structured
3. import using "skip registration"
3. if i dont have control points, but i have a topographical survey with enough detail to manually align, I use autocad to line the scan to the topo and then adjust the UCS in recap to shift and rotate onto OSGB (not perfect I know, but good enough for certain situations)
my problem is, if we need to add detail to the scan, or repair a dodgy set-up mid-project using RECAP, the registration is adjusted and the entire cloud loses its coordination. sometimes slightly, sometimes massively!
is there not a way of locking all existing scans and either removing and re adding a troublesome set-up, or adding say 10 new set ups? in cyclone this is easy, you just lock the links.
