I have started a project by uploading around 45 images, which gave a reasonably good initial result. I tried to add some images (around another 45) to provide some addition coverage in few areas. On resubmitting the project, I found that a decent mesh was created in the vicinity of the new photos, but much of the original mesh had completely disappeared. The original photos are still there and when I look at each photo, they are all still correctly stitched. In another attempt, I renamed all 90 photos and resubmitted as a new project. I found that the result was an even more abstract mesh with only a small portion properly created.
I seem to be adding images, but losing mesh as I add them. Ideally, I would like to "lock in" the original or acceptable parts of the mesh and have the software add to it, rather than try to recreate. I have only created the model as a preview at this stage - would this make any difference? I have also had the smart cropping feature enabled - should this be turned off maybe? Am I missing something in my workflow?
