A file rcs missing in a rcp project

Hello everyone !

I am remodeling a building with scans made with BLK360. I use Recap to unify the scans. The problem is that my main file is suddenly missing a .rcs file (TbL niveau 3 78.rcs), as you can see on the picture below :

ficher rcs manquant.PNG

When I open the project, Recap asks me to index the scans again. I think it is because of the two unknow files at the end of the following list, which must be linked, probably, to the .rcs file missing :

scans gris.PNG

I can still open the 3D view of the structure with difficulties, cheating with the indexing module, but I cannot import more scans to the project. It doesn't prepare the registration properly when I import files, so I only obtain the following screen :

import.PNG

I hope you can help me. Thanks !

Hi @Anonymous,

Thank you for participating in our Community! Are you creating this project on local drive or network drive? Have you tried downloading scans from BLK360 and then importing to ReCap Pro desktop again? Does scans files has special characters?

Thank you and have a great day!

Thank you for your answer !

I am creating the project on local drive.

I cannot import the scans again for the moment because I haven't access to the BLK360. Furthermore, I would prefer to avoid merging all the scans again.

I'm not sure about your last question. What would be special characters on the scan files?

Is there any exception happening when indexing the project?

It looks like TbL niveau 3 78.rcs is still in the processing of creation because you can see there is a TbL niveau 3 78.rcs_temp file existing.

You can remove this file from the import screen and re-import this file.
