Where can I download AutoCad LT 2013

Hi All,

I lost my Autocad LT 2013 disc during moving, and I have my serial # stored in email.

I can't find LT 2013 anymore on the website, and my serial # won't work on LT 2016.

Please help!

Thank you.

Hi @Anonymous,

Welcome to the Community.

You can download the AutoCAD LT 2013 installer from the Virtual Agent instead. Check out these links for the detailed information and instruction on how to do so:

Installing Autodesk AutoCAD products from the Virtual Agent

Downloading Previous Versions of Autodesk Software Using the Virtual Agent

Let us know how it goes. Thank you.

>>>...my serial # won't work on LT 2016...<<<
FYI... serial numbers are like car keys: if you lose your car, simply going to the dealer to try your keys on a newer model car without paying for it first is not the answer 🙂

Glad the fix was easy: I lose stuff when moving too, it drives me crazy.

Just the opposite. Your software is "virtual", so you just go the the dealer to get another copy 😄

You can't compare something virtual with something physical.

Serial Numbers cost $$ to acquire from Autodesk 😉

Indeed. You are paying for the serial number not for the installation files.

Hence if you have the serial number you can always request for a download link for the installation files but of course not the other way around 😄

Yes.

Today, not the year 2016 that you are replying to, Autodesk makes it exceptionally difficult to get a download for an old software. To try it today in the year 2021, you have to go this route if you have a valid serial number that was never used by you or someone else as an upgrade:  open a ticket with the Licensing support and confirm your options for sure here https://knowledge.autodesk.com/contact-support/installation-activation

I am also in need of a download for Autocad LT 2013 as we purchased a new home computer with no CD rom. I also don't have the original CD so I'm hoping I can get the serial key off the current program on the old computer. Any help is appreciated. Thanks!

@gilly_13 Autodesk no longer hosts downloads for unsupported software. I'm not seen anyone else host downloads for free. Whip out a credit card and look for "something" like that on the web to purchase if you can find it.

And LT2013 is not supported in Win11 either if that is what is on your new computer, nd it did not make the Win10 list officially anyway even if that is what is on your old computer https://knowledge.autodesk.com/support/autocad/learn-explore/caas/sfdcarticles/sfdcarticles/Windows-...

Note this: if you cannot transfer your license using the license transfer tool and get it to work on your own, your LT2013 on the new computer will be dead forever because of this https://forums.autodesk.com/t5/previous-version-support/problems-to-star-autocad-lt-2014-on-windows-...

Good luck.

Thanks for the update! I am sticking with Windows 10 (not a fan of Win11 so far). I will continue to look around but at the very worst, I will just have to keep a copy of ACAD LT 2013 on my old computer if I can't find a downloadable version to substitute.
