License Verification after Windows Update

I have an older copy of Civil 3D 2009.  I like it I have used since I bought in 2009 actually if I am to be honest I preferred Lands Desktop 2.  Recently Windows performed an update and now it checks the license when I log in and requires the product to be reactivated but since it is more than 10 years old it will not activate.  I purchased the license and I should be able to use the software as long as it will run on my operating system and meet my needs which it does.  I am not interested in purchasing an annual license for a new AutoCAD product that will require more down time and learning curve.  I am sole proprietor and do a modest business.  Does anyone know how to disable this.  I have contacted Autodesk and they are no help.  I have disabled the Software Protection.  Uninstalled and reinstalled the product and still no avail.  Please help!  I am dead in the water my business is shut down because of this!

Sorry, your situation is not unique. There are a bunch of posts just like yours. Have a look and you will see the same responses posted here.

Drafting is a breeze and Revit doesn't always work the way you think it should.

There is no solution, sorry. Time for a new plan.
