Is there anything equivlant to the old AutoCADlt 97 that will run on Windows 10 64 bit

We have an old desktop in the family room my boys have been abusing for years. Almost embarrassed to admit it's been running XP till just this week when I upgrade to Windows 10 64 bit. Thought I was doing a good thing until my youngest son came up stairs crying, he's quite young and simply loved drawing and playing around in AutoCAD lt 97. A true computer geek just out of diapers, they sure do start 'em young these days.

Now I'm in the dog house for killing his beloved AutoCAD. Are there any alternatives that are similar in functionality and simplicity to the old AutoCAD lt 97 program?
