Fatal error when I open Autocad Lt 2016 in Windows11

When I open Autocad Lt 2016, I immediately (without opening a drawing) get this Fatal Error message:

fmvandevoort_0-1664878147378.png

The problem started after installing a Windows update, before that there no problems. I have already tried a clean uninstall of Autocad and installed it again. On the first launch this appeared to work, I was able to open a drawing and work on it. But when I tried to reload a missing Xref, it immediately went into Fatal Error again. And now it continues to go into Fatal Error anytime I try to launch AutoCad. Can anyone help me fix this?

OH MY GOD!  Whoever you are, you're brilliant!  Just got two new desktops with Windows 11 and when I installed our AutoCad 2016 perpetual license products I had exactly the same experience.  I replaced the two files and it now operates perfectly.  Thanks so much!

Related questions:  I applied the fix above and our 2016LT is now functioning fine on Windows 11 with two exceptions: 1. The program no longer recognizes xref manager command.  I can open the classicxef dialog box but when I click on the xref manager button on the bottom right toolbar, the command line says the command is not recognized.  And 2. The "colors" tab under display/windows elements is not functioning.  So I'm unable to adjust the colors of our paper space and model space backgrounds.  Any ideas?

@fmvandevoort it seems that AutoDesk is no longer making older service pack files available to download. Would you have a copy of the service pack for AutoCAD 2016 STANDARD and be able to share it somehow? Much appreciated.

@tomasz_dawidczyk your suggestion is quite dangerous. You are replacing 64bit AutoCAD components with 32bit versions which are completely incompatible in 64bit AutoCAD - they no longer get loaded correctly into AutoCAD, that's why you don't see the error(s) anymore. The knock on effect of your solution is undefined.

Why the error happens is likely due to "acismobj20.dbx" and/or "AcSceneOE.dbx" dependencies on 64bit Windows components which get constantly updated by Microsoft. I saw a recommendation on here somewhere to install the 32bit version of LT 2016 - that makes sense as it is less likely to be broken by Windows Update.

This solved my primary issue, THANK YOU!!  My remaining problem is that when I try to use a tool pallet I get an error that says Unable to execute tool.  Unexpected error.  I have looked at permissions and read only issues without success.
