Download ACAD 2017
I've read, log into account. Clic on Management. Here's a pic, AutoCAD Architecture 2017 isn't in the list.
You can use the Autodesk Virtual Agent to download the ACA 2017 installation files.
In the Virtual Agent, navigate through:
Download Links > AutoCAD Products > AutoCAD Architecture
Then download both Part 1 and Part 2 under AutoCAD Architecture 2017 (one at a time), either 32- or 64-bit, based on your operating system, to the same folder. Once both files are fully downloaded, double-click on the Part 1 file to start the extraction process, which will extract the files from both downloads, and then start the installation process.
It seems odd that your Account page does not list AutoCAD Architecture at all. If you have a Subscription or a Permanent License on active Maintenance, I would expect to see it between 360 Mobile and AutoCAD 360. If it were there, you would be able to click on the ">" at the left side to expand it, and would see previous versions listed there. I would still recommend using the Virtual Agent for the download, even if it were shown there.
You will not find AutoCAD Architecture 2017 on the self-service Autodesk website; Autodesk Account provides access to the current release and the three most-recent previous releases (2025, 2024, 2023, 2022 at the time I am posting this). Autodesk Assistant, the replacement for AVA, will let you download the current version and the five most-recent previous versions (2025, 2024, 2023, 2022, 2021, 2020). If you have a reseller, you might contact them to see if they have a way to get older versions.
For anyone else looking to download installation files through Autodesk Assistant, here is the current process:
- Go to https://manage.autodesk.com/home and sign in with your Autodesk Account.
- In the lower right corner of the browser window, there should be a "speech bubble" icon. It may take a few moments to appear. It looks like this (and, initially, will have an annoying popup saying "hello").
- Click on the bubble to open Autodesk Assistant. Choose Post-purchase support.
- Choose Downloads.
- Choose Download software.
- Choose Find a product download.
- Type in the name of the product you want to download, such as AutoCAD Architecture.
- Autodesk Assistant will show you items that match what you type in. Select the one you want.
- You can type a specific release, but if it is not available, you will be so informed.
