AutoCAD suddenly cannot find license file

I have AutoCAD 2010 and AutoCad Architecture 2010 which has been runnng fine, but it suddenly cannot find the license file.  I tried browsing to the file location but it will not accept that file.  Help!!!

Is this still the original Windows7/NT4 PC from back in the day too?
Or did something change since that decade not mentioned in your post @jjjandaw1

It’s an original windows 7 machine, yes. Nothing changed, no new software. It just stopped being able to find the license file.
