AutoCAD 2010 on new computer: cannot register/activate

We have a 2010 Autocad legacy version that we still use and have recently had to change computers (upgrade) and when we reloaded the program it would not let us register it. We have the activation code from the original activation.

I guess my question is will it stop working after the 30 day we have to activate.

@JamesCrawford4471 Your old AutoCAD2010 license is active and valid for you to use on that old computer for as long as possible.

Autodesk however ended activation of AutoCAD2010 and older software back in the year 2019, and AutoCAD 2014 and older this last July, so you've sadly missed that opportunity to use it for much longer on new PCs.

If you wish to find out more, you are welcome to review all the identical posts in this forum (it is dedicated to the topic) or reach out to a reseller or three in your region to talk to a live person(s) about it https://www.autodesk.com/partners/locate-a-reseller

Good luck.
