Autocad 2007 requires new registration after using since 2007

I have been using 2007 since purchased, I have the CD with serial.
I suddenly get an error message when I try to open that indicates that I need to register.
The only thing that has changed in my system (Win 10) is the MS updates that are forced on me.
The program will not allow registration online.
I sent an email with the appropriate file as requested in the registration instructions to Autodesk twice now and have not gotten a response.
I retired several years ago, and use this to design small projects in my wood shop.
I don't have the funds to purchase a new edition, nor do I really need any new features, as this works just fine for me.

How can I re-activate 2007?

EDIT: I found the thread about Autodesk not registering old software.
Looks like I am pretty much screwed.
Shame that this company chooses to do this, it would not cost them a penny to allow re-activation.
I guess I am thru with Autodesk, even though I have been using their products since 1980's.

It would cost them a lot of pennies.

Drafting is a breeze and Revit doesn't always work the way you think it should.
