Welcome to the Autodesk User's Community..

As of Aug 31 2019, you can no longer activated product version 2010 or earlier.

Can I use the transferable licence utility on the same PC?

Otherwise, if I uninstall Autocad LT 2009, how can I reinstall it again?

The license transfer may be an option but I wouldn't count on it.

I don't need them to activate my software...i just need for what i've paid for!!

Why suddenly my paid software asks for an activation code??? since he was already instaled for more then 10 years in my pc? working just fine?

Why doesn't my product key works to activate the product? I've have my original cd with the serial anda product key!!

Autodesk is just bullying old client's?

Ryan713 thanks in advance.

But it just don't solve my problem...unfortunately i guess for what i'ven been reading...autodesk is forcing old client's to guive them more money!!! and i would guive...if i need more software...witch i don't!!

I was deceived by autodesk when i've paid for autocad lt 2009!! Suddenly they change the rules?

I'am very sorry for that.

I'm waiting for a answer by support case....i won't give up. My company will search for justice.

No one here is Autodesk. But we know the following that we are sharing with you.

Your AutoCAD/LT2009 is not supported in Win10, which means Autodesk is not interested ever in helping you with any issue, it does not mean anything else you might read into "supported" http://autode.sk/1IY4C2X

Win10 breaks licenses after OS updates for many users. Microsoft and Autodesk are not interested in ever finding out why. Ever. Not much you can do about it today in Feb2021.

NOTE: Autodesk ended automatic reauthorizing of 2010 and older software as of August 31 , 2019, read all about it here https://knowledge.autodesk.com/support/autocad/learn-explore/caas/simplecontent/content/previous-ver...

But... if you are not using Win10 (or are but still decide to ignore what I wrote anyway) you can open a ticket with Licensing Support and confirm your options for sure here if you must hear it from Autodesk, be careful to listen closely to how they work helping you out if they choose to do so https://knowledge.autodesk.com/contact-support/installation-activation

Remember, no one here is Autodesk, no point in ranting or fussing, we can't do anything about it.

Good luck.

If you install it on a system that it was designed for, Vista 32 but, it should work.

Good luck.

ACAD are THIEVES like MS where you pay for a PERPETUAL LICENSEE; then 'oh we cant activate that'; this is a prime candidate for a class action suit
However; I believe a work around would be to run the program in compatibility mode

Accusing them of stealing doesn't make it so. There are a few people that feel the same as you but no one has started a lawsuit. I wonder why...

" Accepted solutions (1)" ..there is not useable solution. This could be a good joke if it weren't a crime. Autodesk sold licensed software to clients and then robbed them of the ability to use it. That's a crime in every sense of the word.

We, normal humans aka users, have to read " Accepted solutions" as "fully answered" (as far as possible from that point of view)

As far as activation is concerned, other companies were pioneers and AutoDESK was quick to follow suit.
