Hi @cekuhnen,
Thank you for posting.
Unfortuanetly, I found this through learning site
Note: You cannot delete or rename any created milestone.
it seems by design...
if you need any further help, please let me know.
Many thanks
Dear Lord - then Fusion has to warn users! Now I am stuck with this for ever.
I can migrate (export/Import) all the files and then import them back. That should work.

@cekuhnen, I'm sorry if you feel uncomfortable.
I think Fusion team are very flexible so that they would update something. I'm going to report this and If I receive any resonse, I'll let you know.
thank you for shaing your workaround!
Many thanks,
Ah you did not notice the added "drama" in my tone - it was more meant as a joke.
I see the reason why not to be able to off, but I think it still would be good to do so
Specifically in cases like my where I by accident tested and turned it on.
A warning by what will happened would be good.
Best
Claas

We should at least be able to delete ALL branch history. I'm a Software Engineer by trade, so since they compare this to Git, we should be able to do a 'git init' anytime.
@mel.norris Yep I agree with the Github!
I made an idea here: vote for it

Hi @cekuhnen,
Awesome! I also vote your idea
In the meantime, I've reported it as well(FUS-30104), let's wait until receiving any response and I will get back to you.
Have a great day!!
Many thanks,
Hi @cekuhnen,
you can merge all of your data from the "Test" branch to the Master branch if you want so you don't need to export/import anything.
Also since the Branching&Merging is a Preview Fusion displays a warning when you try to create a new branch:
Regards,
Josef
When I tried to merge it did not work.
and the website does not explain much about the ups and downs (yet should be added!!!)

Class please could you try to re-open the merge dialog again?
Same error!
EDIT: Found it! In the browser the folders are shown incorrectly in order

You mean that the project was on the Test branch and now it is gone?
Could you try to restart Fusion?
Great, I was afraid of the worst for a while but nothing like that (means lose of data) should happen in regards of Branching & Merging...
Yep!
Still any idea why I cannot download, move or copy those files?
I can add you to the project to take a look if you want?

I did restart this few times already but it always fails.
What I need to do now is to get the rest of the master brach fusion files out of the project folder so I can retire the folder with the branch.
But download / copy and move does not work for odd reasons like relationships which I am sure I hardly if not don't even have.
There is no way to indicate in F or A360 what file might be of issue and thus forces you to go file by file - but I have files since 2013!

So you say that you created the "Test" branch upon project where you have stored files since 2013 so the whole structure including folders were copied to the Test branch?
If so it means that you have duplicated all your data to the Test branch but it doesn't mean that when you switch to the Master branch that the files will be missing they are still there as well...
I understand. To clarify. I do not want in that project to have the test branch anymore. Merge fails. So I started to migrate files out of the project into a new project.
besides two folders this all worked.
But the rest two folders and all their files are not able to be moved/copied/downloaded when using the folder in A360 and using the commands to copy etc.
I am forced to enter each folder and go file by file which is crazy.
A360 does not inform you what file might have an issue (possible relationship) - instead if just fails/stops any file move command.
I hope this explain this more now. Other files were able to move so I don't think that it is a branch issue.
This is more now more an A360 file management shortcoming (should have its own thread as this doesn't fit this branch anymore)

I see, so you did some work on your designs on the Test branch and since the merge didn't work for you, you started to move or copy files to a different project...
In that case I will ask someone from A360 team to help you.
Thanks for your patience.
Josef
